Hey Ceasar, It looks like you might have a starter that is going bad.

I've had mine for a while now and never had a problem with it. Also the range on mine is great. I work in a 11 store building and i park in the parking structure 2 floors down and i'm able to start my car from my Office.

By the time i get to my car its all nice and warmed up..

Try adjusting the crank time on the remote starter. My car was like that on cold mornings too. After I adjusted it, I had no problems.

is your starter in tach mode or alternator mode? in alternator mode, it will crank for a certain amount of time and when it detects a voltage spike from the alternator, it will know the car is started. in tach mode, it does the same thing but it reads from the tach wire which is more reliable.

When mine (Clifford) was installed, the antenna was placed by the rear view mirror, but the two extensions were stuffed inside the headliner (you'll know what I mean if yours was installed like that). I pulled them out and the range seemed to have improved.
