Oh yeah i suggest lock-tight the sway bar links to the strut.
Cause i tightened mine like no other and one came loose.
And i would also suggest usin' White Lithium Grease for hte poly bushin's.
There my 2 cents. :D

I would suggest grease, then plumbers tape, then more grease, then the bushing. The last thing you want is the thing squeaking on you.

When you guys replaced yours, were the bolts stuck on hard, or was it easy to remove the stock one? I thought for sure the TRD bar would come with new bolts, Ive never changed a swaybar on a car without shattering the old bolts by accident ;). With 80k on my 99 Solara I figure it'll be tough.

Anyone know the replacement bolt specs? I'd like to have some around just in case.

Also - what the difference between the track setting and normal setting?

Thanks ^^.

I live up here in NE and my car has 100k and the bolts came off easy. Track setting is a little stiffer and therefor the car will handle better but you have to becareful because you will oversteer and its the hole closest to the bar itself. Good Luck

Cool, thanks for the info. I found a dealer online, Kinderhook Toyota, who had the bar for $150 shipped, but they won't answer my emails. Anyone know of another source?

Kinderhook is where I got mine. The guy you have to contact is Eddie...Not sure if he still works there though, that was a year and a half ago when I got mine.
