Rims with No Drop? Staggered?

I will probably get some Gen 2 rims.

I would never drop based on the fact that I had about 10 Solara owners tell me its a much diff ride.

I have no need for steering improvement and don't feel like swerving potholes all day.

If it was not my Daily Driver I would.

What are you running for suspension CDEEZ?

Im going to look around for some Gen 2 rims.

Staggared is possible on a FWD car I have seen it.

Someone on the board did just did it as well.

Where do you get this from? Please share specifics about how lowering a car can affect bearings or steering parts.

yeah....I agree...I don't get where you run the risk of bad bearings, damaged steering rack and abnormal tire wear. I'm dropped on TRD/eibach springs with stock struts. I have no problems with alignment, even wear on my tires, no steering problems and no busted bearings. I've already dropped my own Solara and another and 2 other Camrys. They've had no problems with their drops also. That's my 2 cents

Another option is to just drop the front springs. I have the tokico/tein setup and found that the rear tein springs sagged way too much, to the point now that I only have a 1/2 finger gap in the rears and 1.5 in the front. Since my stereo/amp setup is pretty heavy in back, I plan to replace the tein rear springs with the oem ones, to get back a little gap and also to keep my 18's from rubbing when I have a lot of weight in the back, during the summer months. My winter wheels and tires do not rub at all. I would highly suggest to at least drop the front springs. They are easy to get to and your car will look much less 4x4 'ish.

...And if handling is a goal for you, at least buy a TRD or Whiteline rear sway bar, even if you do not drop the rear springs. It will do wonders for your suspension and control.
