There should be a table on door that tells you the reccommended pressure but the pressure should be around 30psi and 32psi

:) Hey Bro,

Just check the driver side door. There should be a sticker label that states the proper tire pressure load recogmendations. That's if your running stock rims of course.

Always go by the sticker on the vehicle....not the psi on the tire.....that's why Firestone got F'ed....

I run 31" BFG's on my Jeep...50 psi is printed on the tire....if I ran that kind of pressure, my kidneys would go through my mouth everytime I hit a bump....I usually run 30 in the jeep....

I stick with the recommended 32 for my solara (16") I think the 15" are around 28ish. If I was going on a long trip all highway I would probably run 35 psi...

Just my opinion...

tire pressure valve stem caps

Postby Sentinel » Tue Jan 10, 2006 7:55 am

I think that the valve stem caps with pressure indicators are a good way to be able to check your pressure quickly... I mean, who here checks their tire pressure every day?
You'd still need a "proper" tool to check the pressure every week, or whatever your personal interval is, but I think those are a good safety check.
You can not tell if a tire is low on pressure by visual means: if a tire "looks" like it is low on air, it is probably down to 15 or 20 psi, & this is WAAAAAAY too low.

50 is MAX psi. don't exced that. besides... 31''ers are not stock on the jeep are they ? if they aren't, then how would you be able to guage the psi rating if only the stock is on the door sill?

what i'm saying is that if there are different tires than factory on the car, one should not go according. it may lead to under/over inflation
