^^ Exactly, just gut out your trunk completely...remove everything from those side pockets by the tail lights as well. Let it air dry and then just wipe it off with clorox wipes. (that was suffice me a while back when i had a similar problem).

Take out the carpets and crap, Febreze 'em (god, that stuff can do Anything!), and be glad that you didn't have a pig die and then explode in your car (as per Mythbusters), which would be a much more interesting clean up.

Mold won't start to grow unless it has been wet for over 2 days. If it has been wet for over 2 days I would remove the carpet steam clean it and spray the metal in the trunk with a 20% bleach solution. That will kill any mold that could have developed.

lol i have a horror story like that my homeboy had a six pack in some ice and decided to put in my trunk without telling me....well of course it leaked out and one bottle broke.......what makes it worse was it was april 19th.........ummm ya..........and i soaked it and had the car smell like crap for like 2 months......i bouth 23 air fresheners and had them in there for ever......and i steamed everything ..........finnaly got the smell out :)
