what are some of the differences between 1-piece 2-piece and 3-piece wheels besides the obvious? are wheels made of more than one solid block lighter? or stronger? etc......

well...in a multipiece wheel lets say u bend it. well u can take the rim apart and only have to buy the outer part. usually these are very expensive rims and im pretty sure the construction is stronger. not sure about all tht but thts wat ive heard.

they say 3-piece wheels are stronger, but all in all, wheels bend and you can't change that....some wheels are just softer than others regardless if they are 1,2, or 3 piece wheels..i think 3-piece wheels just look better, ..honestly my wheels are pretty freakin' strong(1pc). i have run into some major pot holes and my rims have been fine..when i had my konigs..any little pot hole would rip those wheels are apart..those were the worse wheels i have ever had in my life..they look tight, but the quality sucked..they are softer than girl with a bubble butt..

oh and all this is just my opinion....

3 pieces can have very pretty lips. i think overall forged 1 piece should be lightest and strongest?
