And I have HIDs w/ single beam. CAlifornia

CA doesnt have "inspections" like the east coast
ours are just smog tests... assssed out on most major engine mods

I'm pretty sure youll fail even if you had bixenons. Installing aftermarket HID kits is technically illegal for on-road use. This was only a few years back I think, so I'm not sure if you can say you installed it before and were "grandfathered" in before the laws came into play.

But without the highbeam, I think youll definitly fail. Go back to halogens for inspection.

I had to swap out my HIDs (singlebeam) for halogens to pass NJ state inspection
