Cheap or expensive?

Cheap!! I still get great stuff at the 99Cent store.

Expensive, I've got cash and things usually are better when they're expensive.

Neither, I research and cross examine products between a million stores, then get the best deal, cheap or not.

YSD Clear Corner's - $18

Hey everyone.

As you know, I have clear corners that were custom made (by the previous owner) and the left one started to have condensation so I took it out and tryied to bake it dry on top of a radiator... it didn't work so I tried to add rubbing alcohol and try to do it that way (because it's volatile, etc. so supposedly supposed to evaporate quickly..)

Anyways, long story short, I left it too long so it cracked.

Basically I'm going to purchase new ones,
http://www.andysautosport.com/product/detail?_p=SONA00060131&_v=vmd00415

I'll let you know if they're any good. The picture is wayyy bad, but again... you never know if it's going to be a good deal.

I'll post up pics and whatnot when I receive them next week... really hope they aren't that all bad, looks like a cross between the stock and the euros, w/out the lines.

God bless.

-----------------------------------EDIT-----------------------------------
Want to see why I need new corners?...

P.S. I think mine are Euro's... I just had to mess them up...

Also, don't tell me about how to get condensation out, if that was condensation I wouldn't care, but it's not. The whitish foggy stuff is the plastic melted and there's cracks... maybe I shouldn't have baked it on a radiator..

the pic is definitely horid!!! but since it shows a lot of chrome, seems to be the euro corners

hope shipping didnt kick your butt, but you could find plenty on ebay... youll still have to put silicone all around the edges to avoid condensation (doesnt always work unfortunately)

I'm looking for some clear corners also. All I've been able to find are the Euro version, which I don't want. I found a pair on E-bay but after I won them he e-mailed me saying they weren't in stock. I've also tried to create my own with some OEM corners but that didn't work out. Cant wait to see what yours look like.

Yeah, I have the chrome clear corners and really don't care for the look. I have been searching for the true clear corners without the chrome reflector.

i'm pretty sure the "chrome" clear corners and the "euro style" clear corners are the same. damn. thing.

they're "both" on ebay. i personally wouldn't go with that YSD website simply because it's cheaper...

In my search for clear corners here is what I've come up with. These are advertised as clear corners:

These are advertised as Euro Corners:

It seems the Euro corners are completely clear while the clear corners are somewhat diffused. It makes difference so you dont see your turn signal bulb.

Shipping was $9.99, not that bad, $30 total, $5 cheaper than the cheapest pair of Euros on a site. (I'd rather not do Ebay)

I'll definitely post some pics up wehn I receive them.

Is it just me... or is there some green stuff near the bottom of the housing?

Oh yeah, another thing, I have a perfectly mint condition left passanger side Euro clear corner...

Don't know if anybody would just need ONE clear corner, but hey, if you do let me know. If you're in Southern Cali just come and pick it up. I can't do anything with it cuz I ordered a new pair. (if you want it to do mods or whatever...)

Yeah... I'm going to silicone the pair I get like no other.. Just remove the black lining and then apply and dry right?

Anyways, I think it's a great deal for only $18.00 even w/ the expensive shipping of $9.99 (plus tax) for a pair of Euro's. I'll let you know though, don't want to raise up my hopes.

just got mine the other day, put them on...

Looks real nice on my silver solara.... also ordered the silver gauge faces.

I got them from www.procarparts.com

sorry, Im not promoting.... just letting you guys know where I got my ish from.

Oh yeah, the silver guages are for a 99 camry... same difference, except my Solara has a security led in the tach.... Im moving it elsewhere, and probably changing the color to blue.

As for the euros, pretty good build quality, would have prefered a less brittle plastic... looks like these things will pop with a quickness guys. Im planning on re-enforcing them with a thin layer of fiberglass, and yes Im gonna clear silicone the livin' ish outta them to prevent moisture from getting in there.

Now all I need are some cheap, bright led's... 3157's and 194's

stay cool people!
