HOW DO YOU REMOVE THE CUSTOM SHORT SHIFTER???

My thing won't come up far enough because the plastic moving thing (striped) that moves back and forth when you shift has fallen out and I can't get it back in because it's stuck on the short shifter, only comes up like 2 inches. HELP!!!

Thanks.
And I'm over all lighting mods... I encountered this because I tried replacing the under shifter bulb...

i dont think anyone here can help you unless they seen your "custom" automatic shifter.

I seriously need to get this fixed... The plastic moving thing is basically popped under the shifter, I just need to somehow remove the shifter...

Sorry, don't have recent pics.

The tops suppose to spin off when i use to have one on my other car. The top cap of that suppose to come off then theres like a small bolt you unscrew or soemthing and it slids right off.

I think. Dont remember.

Thanks, anything helps.
I took off the chrome part and the carbon fiber but there's still a "body" of the shifter left. I'm going to look into it in more detail, even if it means taking apart the whole center console... I just want to put the long rectangular piece of plastic back into the shifter housing... ahhhh.
