Relays for upgraded lights

Is it necessary to add relays when upgrading headlight bulbs? I did this on my Corrado and the improvement was awesome. If a relay is needed does anyone have a diagram? Thanks.

Wiring harnesess are not necessary unless you plan to run a higher wattage bulb. With OEM or Silverstars, harnesses are not needed.

, and as Ryan mentioned, if you're running higher wattage bulbs (which I think that's what you meant by "upgrading" your bulbs), then you'll need the harness. Otherwise, on stock wattage bulbs, 55W, you won't need it.
