Part number for the camry PT901-48130-CM
Part number for the solara PT901-48130-SL

Is there a reason why the camry and the solara has a different part number? In the TRD Catalog it also says the Camry has a 1.25 drop in the back where the solara has a 1.75 drop. Also I can save $15 bucks by goign with the part number that ends with CM. What gives?

Both cars weigh differently, therefore needing diff. spring rates?, why try and be cheap over $15 if you can get the part made for your car?

thought it'd be the same. Figure why spend the extra $15 if it was the same part with 2 diff. letters at the end of the part #.

Camry and Solara are both the same cars, same chassis. Obviously the Solara is a 2 door and a camry is a 4 door. They'll fit.

hahahah thanks mole.. this thread looks familiar anyone remember H-techs???

notice the only difference in the p/n is cm & sl

can you guys take a stab at what that is??

cm is camry
sl is solara

in otherwords they just want feeble little kids (not refering to the authur of this thread) to pay the premimum for the same product..

kinda like those cereal brands that taste exactly the same but they are just bagged differently.
need wheels? www.memoryfab.com - ask for david

I thought they'd fit.. Was just wondering why TRD would use different part numbers. Thought there might be a reason. Oh well, guess im saving $15

Look again. The same Eibachs are advertised to drop the Gen4 Camry (Gen4 Cam = Gen1 Solara) 1.2" as well.

I dont know whats up with the discreptancy between Camry and Solara's drop rate, but Eibach's are same as TRDs.

FYI: I have TRD camry springs on my solara. And i know many people at TN who own camrys have Solara springs. They are essentially the identical part, it just so happens that cm and sl are there to confuse us!
