Hey all, I know this piece is nothing but eye candy, but I'm sure y'all wouldn't want to not have it either.

Is that what the shifter of the older Solara looks like? I like the new one better, much more visually pleasing.

Well.. I like mine, it isn't stock, aftermarket short. But one thing wrong w/ it, so annoying to take out the shifter housing... cause it's shorter.

Anyone w/ a service manual that can help me out??

I know it's a lame part, but I want it...
The story is, I dropped it into the area where the shifter is and I can't find it since it's so small.

Confused...the original pictre isn't you car's shifter (as I can see by the pic in the 2nd post)

Anyway, I was actually referring to the actual entire shifter/housing.

The shifter in my 2006 doesn't have a lock button and the surrounding housing is aesthetically pleasing. You just pull the shifter to the rright and guide it down to each position. The area around the shifter has a frosted glass appearance.

I'd say you could probably get that part for free from a salvage yard.
