I created a new cardomain page and I figured I'd start a thread on my system build in my 04. This way I don't have to start a new thread when I have questions and problems (which I undoubtedly will) Feel free to post questions, comments, and hate here :P

This will be a slow process so don't get antsy!!! I'm taking my time and I work strange hours so I don't have a lot of opportunity to work on it. I'll post here each time I update the site pics. Enjoy!!!!!

Oh yea.....sign my guestbook too!

Quick question. I'm going to hook up my LOC tonight. The factory radio only has 4 audio wires out. Left + and -, and Right + and -. The LOC has 8, a + and - for each speaker. Do I just connect all the rights and all the lefts? Won't that effect the Front/Rear inputs to the amp because it's not F/R, it's L/R? Make sense?

Thanks for the input :)
I got a lot done today. The amp rack is finished and in place. It came out a lot better than I thought it was gonna look. I'm updating the cardomain page now.

I'm really having a hard time with this LOC. It's the top one on this page
http://davidnavone.com/adaptor_products.htm

I got the remote wire in and it works fine, but the audio's are a bitch. Has anyone ever done one of these?

In addition to the channels being incorrect, I lose my volume and fade. I can get all the speakers to work, just not all at the same time. Even if I get the polarities correct, am I still going to lose my volume, etc? Doesn't make sense to me.

It's funny you bumped this thread, I was just going to post in it tonight. I finally got all the interiors running. I ended up wiring it differently than I had planned. The LOC: this damn thing--At first I had wired it to the audio outputs right behind the stock deck, but since the volume, fade, and bass/treble is controlled through the factory amp, I lost all the controls. It was just a flat volume that wouldn't go up or down. I then just wired it in with the rear speaker lines, still using the factory amp, the only downside is I have to fade all the way to the rear to bypass the dash speakers that I didn't disconnect.

Then I had the amp running all 4 channels, and the rears sounded good, but the front components sounded like ass. They'd distort like crazy with the bass on -5, and the treble was ear piercing on it's lowest level, so I decided not to amp the rears and just use amp for the front 2. Doubling the power to the fronts made a HUGE difference. They sound freakin incredible now. I can't wait to get the doors matted, it's gonna make a huge difference. I'd like to hear what they sound like with 200 watts pushing them. So the rears just run on the factory amp and they sound good as well. Great midbass response for a 6x9.

Tomorrow I start to build the box. I'll post pics up as soon as I take them.
