Hey guys youve probably seen me on some forums..im pretty new thanx to Happy_Aggies....but i wanted to tell yall that im doing a project on my solara and part of that project is the headlights...
Im doing a conversion to the JDM 1500 headlamps...for those of you that have no clue of what im saying its the NISAN SILVIA 1500 HEADLAMPS...they actually fit PRETTY CLOSE...and my body shop guy says it will take minimum molding and custom work....so when my project is done i will get pics and show yall...but for now this is what the headlamps look like...also on the far side corner it says SILVIA in silver...hope you like the idea...i sure dohttp://members.optushome.com.au/s15silvia/tech/xenonhid.html :evilbat:

good luck on your work. The S15 headlight conversion has already been done on a Solara. :)

i dont know the exact price cuz its part of my total project however...the headlights themselves range from 700-1200...ive seen both prices...and the work would range about 300-600...then im also adding an HID kit which i knwo fora fact is 550...let you know when im done...L8r moe :evilbat:

Oh I heard about that car. A buddy of mine knows the guy. I seen it when it was white crusin around China town in Chicago. His car looked raw back then. Do you know how much Larry @ Body werks charged him for the conversion? I heard he also has suicide doors.

I don't know how much he paid, but from the looks of it, it was quite a lot I bet. I'd like to see it one day, may be when it gets warmer. He probably has it stored up to avoid all the snow, sleet, salt, etc.

OK...just got word back from my sponsor that the s15 conversion isnt as easy as i thought...i have come to know that the full S15 conversion with work and labor is about 4000....only because some wires and electronics under the hood have to be slightly relocated...but ill let you know when i get more info...(by the way im still getting it done :P )...wish me luck and ill post pics when ready...L8r, moe :evilbat:

damn, might as well sell your car and import the s15 from japan. i guess its cool though, having the conversion. good luck
