Yes, it's called unplug the DRL plug underneath your hood, near the passenger side firewall.


on the 2000-01 camrys, they changed from the resistor to the DRL relay. if you disable the drl, you will disable the automatic sensor.

are the newer solaras still using the resistors for the drls?

We have the option of turning it off. We have off-DRL-parking-Headlights and in the same knob, fog switch. We dont have the sensors.

Forgot to mention this method only works for 99-01 Solaras ONLY. Gen4 uses a different method all together. The 02-03 Solara has a seperate switch on the turn signal stalk.
