SilverStars Bulbs Question

SilverStars Bulbs Question

Postby RedRum Solara » Sat Feb 01, 2003 8:51 pm

I searched for this topic and could'nt find out my answer...

I went to Kragen Auto Parts today to buy some Silverstars, the guy told me i can get the 9003 or H4 and i said what is the difference and he had said that the H4's are way better then the 9003 because they are brighter, on the box of the Silverstars H4 the say "For Motorcylces only" but, he had said they were brighter so i bought them, they are better then my stock ones , but i just wanted to see if this was true and which ones did you guys get the 9003 or H4. Please help, i was confused and i hope i have the right ones. Thanks

There is a H4 version for motorcycles only. Yes H4 is 9003 but for the H4 motorcycle application, the bulbs do burn a little brighter. The guy wasn't bs'ing you...he was telling you the truth. BTW, they are the same price to begin with per bulb so it really doesn't matter.
