I'm gonna get my windows tinted soon, and I realized we have that 6 inch "tint" that supposedly causes a bubble effect in the tinting. Anything I can do about this?

On mine, the day after they tinted my car they told me to push down on the air bubbles caused by the defrost dots, it worked! Try that... :D

I got all of mine done, except for the windshield. They told me that if it bubbles, just leave it alone, it's a natural reaction, however, they used water in applying the tint. They told me to wait about 7-10 days before using the rear defroster.

On top of your rear windshield you CANNOT get it completely smooth, its impossible because thats the way our rear glass in designed...Take it to a reputed person, and he/she will try to get it as smooth as possible (since it can't be completely smooth), I was told to park the car outside for 2 days (Houston summers) and then only to roll down my windows and use the defrost....
