Xtec and Apexcone HID Kits -- LIFETIME WARRANTY!

Postby RPM » Fri Feb 10, 2006 1:16 am

Revolution Performance Manufacturing would like to introduce Xtec and Apexcone HID Kits. These kits are well known for their brightness and reliability among other communities (such as BMW, Mazda 6, and Subaru Legacy GT), and we would like to give this community the opportunity to benefit as well!

The Premium Xtec kits feature the highest quality components and utilize microprocessor technology, making them noticibly brighter than most other kits on the market. They also feature ballasts with integrated ignitors (for a simpler install, and to save precious space in your engine bay), and a lifetime warranty on all parts.

Xtec's Race kit consists of ballasts rated at 50 watts (compared to the 35 watts of normal kits) and special bulbs allow it to produce over 4000 lumens in most colors! The increased power provides lighting up to 40% brighter than the 35-watt Premium Xtec HID Kit.

On the other hand, the Apexcone kits offer many of the same benefits of the Xtec kits, including ballasts with integrated ignitors and the lifetime warranty, but are aimed for the budget minded consumer. The Apexcone kits are still brighter than most competitors, but are about 10% less bright than their Xtec counterparts due to slightly less sophisticated ballast technology.

The kits include "plug-and-play" wiring harnesses that will simply plug into your stock wiring. Complete wiring harnesses (with relays) that can be used instead of your stock wiring are generally available and can be added to any Xtec or Apexcone kit for an additional $30.

Any kit can be ordered in any bulb type and in any color temperature ranging from 3000k (yellow) to 10000k (dark blue) as well as purple. The standard choices are 5000k, 6000k, and 8000k, as those are what we typically have in stock, but anything can be special ordered. All bulb types and color temperatures have the same cost (with the exception of H4 and 9007 Hi/Lo kits, which are $120 more for any color).

PRICING

Our normal price for the Apexcone kit is $289.95 and our normal price for the Premium Xtec kit is $349.95, but we are offering these special prices just for you!

Wow those do look nice. :D :D
Do is see some competition.
Now only if your could retro projectors to the Gen1 Solara headlight housin' and sell them too, that would be cool and great, cause wit the HID in the OEM reflector headlights they blind people.
So yeah if you fab up some quality projector Gen1 headlights some people would pick those up too.
I know some memebers here and includein' myself would like to see projector headlights for the Gen1.

I would be cautious of a "Lifetime Warranty" offered by a company that sells illegal products.

Looks like a nice kit though, but who knows? I would post something up (do a search first) on HIDPlanet to see if anyone knows anything.

The kits are manufactured in Taiwan.

The lifetime warranty is real. Here is a link to a PDF that states the warranty in writing:

If you have any doubts about my offer, about the quality of our kits, or about my company, please refer to Mazda6Club, where I have been selling aftermarket products for the Mazda 6 for nearly 2 years. Here is a link to the Xtec/Apexcone group buy thread on that forum:

The first person with a Gen 1-1.5 and the first person with a Gen 2 to purchase one of our kits and provide a detailed, honest review will receive a $50 gift certificate. ;)

Keep in mind, that while our kits are a bit more expensive than our competitors, they also feature a factory-backed lifetime warranty. That means if your bulbs or ballasts happen to go out in 3 years, we will replace them for free. What if RPM isn't around in 3 years? Like I said, the warranty is factory-backed, meaning you may go through ANY Xtec dealer to get your replacements.

Next logical question... how long has Xtec been around (under the same name)?

I don't know one way or the other... just tossing ideas out there...

For some reason your HID kits look brighter then mine. On the road mine doesnt seem very bright.... That or because my headlight is busted and points up more then down on the road. And I havnt washed the car in days.

This looks tempting, because to tell y'all the truth I'm sick of not having a high beam... especially when the weather is extremely foggy or when it's pouring like no other (which happens a lot).

So I'm thinking of getting this kit H4 BiXenon 4300K (for the most lumens, 4200 lumens?... is that possible?).

If I do, I will let you all know how it is.

Yo is this deal going on always? Or is it just like a limited time thing? I've got a small laundry list of things to invest in before HIDs but when I get em I'm comin to you.
