The Solara Visor is a great location for the cell phone.
It works is you have a flip-phone style cell like mine. No more missing calls when the music is too loud - in this location you can hear the phone when a call comes in no matter how loud the tunes are playing.
It also allows for hands free driving when set on speaker phone.

Just flip open the cell and slide it under the visor, as shown.

I have the Motorola V551, which has a great speaker phone feature.

This set-up works great for me, give it a try if you have a flip-phone.

^^^ LOL - I rarely use the visor down, my head is about 1/2 inch away from the roof of the car so the sun doesn't usually bother me unless it is low and straight ahead. I guess it can also work if you place it on the passenger side visor.

LOL - I love that vibrate mode too, but it is a freaky feeling when the thing goes off while I'm driving - it could almost turn into AutoErotica :D

sitting it on my lap never works out too well, I have a tendency to forget its there when I get out. Needless to say, I've broken a couple of phones.

I had PCS for a few years but switched to Cingulair because I get a discount through work; the coverage area seems to be better with Cingulair here in KC.

In the Gen1 with auto climate, there's a little drawer and I put my phone on there, and since I have a Bluetooth headset, all I gotta do is press the button on the earpiece to pick up a call. Best $30-something I ever spent.
