hey guys... i recently discovered how to post pics... so im gonna abuse my knowledge and ask u guys what u think on some stuff...

1- gen 1 tails or smoked 1.5's?
2-blacked out headlights???
3-CF hood??
4-racing seats??
5-black pearl oem toyota symbol on the center of the trunk?

ill have some new pics of the turbo kit soon, and im really lookin to take the car to the next level and invest some real money into it.. any opinions or ideas are welcome.. enjoy the pics

you already know I love the car bro, looks sick, I especially like the moving shot. Just black out the tails. it will really complete the blacked out look that your ride has already. As for headlights, smoke the housings as a homemade project or pick up a set of the black housings on ebay, that would really compliment your car A LOT. im sure the other guys will agree with that. Other than that good luck and keep it up, it looks bada$$.

First, let me say that your car looks great!

1. What I think would look great on your car is smoked 1st gen lights... but not a normal smoke. Smoke all of the red part of the taillights and leave the clear mirror unsmoked. If you smoke the whole then, there won't be a lot of contrast on the back end... imho.

2. Blacked out headlights - maybe a creative eyelid instead? I've seen a guy take smoked headlight covers and cut nice designs into them. That might work for you.

3. Carbon Fiber - if you want a tuner look, go for it. If you want a low profile look, I'd stay away.

4. Racing seats, to me, look akward with the solara interior. I say go for it, if you're ready to modify other pieces of the interior too, to make it looks like it fits in.

5. I think that the toyota embem would look nice, especially with smoked first gen lights.

- Great, there are some ebay ones as well. I believe members here can help you if your wanting to smoke yours.

- Great, but depending on your purpose? Its a great weight reduction, and stunning for looks.

4-racing seats??
- You have a dark car with dark tints. I'd swap out of the three point thingie into a four point harness if your more into autox, and taking it on the track.

5-black pearl oem toyota symbol on the center of the trunk?
- i like it shaved.

Looking good. Imo I'd black out the tailights, and the driving lights too, except a like smoke vs. a total blackout. Emblem and seats sound like they'd look good too.

I'm in the same situation with the Gen 1.5 smoked tails. I was hoping krawzyazn had some pics of his project on the ones he did. I may just buy a set of the Gen 1's and do what Assyrian said. ~~~>


The carbon fiber hood wouldn't look good in my opinion. I'd keep the colors consistent unless you were going to try to make it lighter.

Smoked headlights are a great idea, I'm just waiting to order mine from eBay.

Racing seats depend on what you plan on making the interior look like. I'd get some nice leather ones with a stock belt. Unless you want that cloth with a huge harness look inside. But then it would look wierd if you didn't make any more sporty mods on the inside.
