Good lookin Greg, as always I'm stoked to see how this works out for you with the intercooling and all. What ever happened with that boost cooler thing? You said it gave some nice numbers on the dyno but that it could have contributed to the problems that almost made you give the car up. You still rockin it or no? My buddy is lookin at going with something similar on his boosted Mach 1 Mustang, but I dunno much about it, or how worth it it really is.

The boost cooler, is still on the car. I don't think I'll really need it if this intercooler works as advertised. I'll be sure to keep everyone here in the loop.

Thanks for the support but, it's cool. You know I've given serious thought to opening an internet after-market store in a couple years. I've got several good connections that would be willing to work with me. Today I'm way to busy.

Sweet!

Postby trd4life » Sat Feb 18, 2006 3:32 pm

Greg you car is gonna haul ass! Remember if you want that built IPT autp transmission that was in the Red Knight its here waiting for a new home, only if you need it though, i dont know what you have as far as transmission mods currently. Do you plan on running a 2" pulley or a 2.2"?

Man I sure hope so. I'm going to run a 2.2 if I can find one but I've got a 2.4 right now. The guy working my intercooler said the 2.4 at lower intake temps will out perform the the 2.2 anyway.

Your thoughts?

mods

I think the 2.4" is probably the best bet. I run a 2.2" on my solara with a 35 shot of nitrous.
