I don't know the Brand Name, but at my local Pepboys they sell Titanium Bulbs that light up amber for 5.99 each. I would try them, unless you want white, but they make the titaniums that light up all colors, including white. But I think that's illegal...

I use APC Titanium bulb. $5.99
Looks silver, but lights up amber. :D
It's not dot approved though.

Aggies - If there not DOT approved, does that make them illegal?

Yup. It's not DOT Approved means (theoritically) it's not legal for street application.
It's for show, off-road use only.

Anyway, I don't think that you will get pulled over because of the Titan bulb, since it still emits amber light when flashes/on. It just not as bright as the OEM since it has metallic tint.

I disagree

I have the 'euro' clear corners that look similar to the headlights with those APC bulbs and I actually think it's brighter than the OEM corner with amber bulb. Just my opinion. Jon.

DOT doesn't approve ANYTHING. They do however set standards and guidelines that aftermarket companies abide by in order to make a product street legal.

Just to update, I put in the Titaniums, and they are well worth the 12 bucks.
