It seems like you have an AEM intake, NOT cold air intake

That is cool, and probably a better option based on how long it has been in development (It’s good to see a company doing things right, not just rushing to market!), but do they have any plans to offer the 4cyl application. Usually, we get screwed for parts even worse than you 6cyl guys. :P

I have talked to them about doing an application for the 4cyl Solaras, but they said one project at a time :D I'll try my best to convince them to do it though.

HAHAHA chris that was funny about the TBA announced but for ur info the TBA is for the air bypass valve the 1st numbers are for the CAI and the 2nd numbers are for the Short ram, they dont have a V2 for it...so there is no TBA, its out.... :P all u have to do is read their app guide...

I'd like to see someone order it and get it to fit  They obviously have something screwed up. As flip noted the 94-96 camry was completely different than the 97-02.

The dyno chart says it was dynoed on a 96, but hopefully they just put 96 because its the first year they list. The 96 camry only has 188hp stock, as apposed to the 194 for 97 and 200 for the Solara. So if this intake is for the 97-02, we should see bigger gains for the later models. I will try to call AEM tomorrow morning, if anyone else gets to them before me please post what years the intake is for.

Also, it says 02 on the 4cyl. Doesn't the O2 have the 2.4 liter, not the 2.2. If so, assuming no mistakes in the info, this would indicate that the 2.2 & 2.4 share the same intake path? I hope this info is all good, but stuff like that makes me wonder if AEM did all the research needed on this.

I called AEM today and there is a misprint, it should be 97-02 for the V6. I didnt ask about the 4cyl. The CAI and short ram should be released in March...

Good job! I thought maybe they accidentally listed 96 because that's when the Gen4 was first sold. Anyway, who cares, on to the next step.
