I wouldn't wire my own S-AFC unless I knew what I was doing. Only a trained tech should do the install.

Postby SC V6 » Mon Jan 27, 2003 3:14 pm

Is there anyway to still order a S-afc??? I would really like to get one.. also how much would it help other than just for fuel economy??? I have an intake and an exhaust... no S\c... how much would it help me out??? I heard the post about the car w\ the intake, exhaust, and a s\c only dynoing at like 205 hp... and how hard would it be to install?

all those wires make it seem preety complex. I admit, i dont know jerk abt cars and i wouldnt dare hook up my S-afc alone. Figure this, i blew a fuse for my stereo system on my car, and being such a dumbass, i looked everywhere, under the seats....even lifted my car matsm nothing. Next day i found where it was when i took it to the stereo shop

Self Install

I did the install of the S-AFC, was not really that big of a deal, but I wouldn't recommend it unless you have the shop manual and some experience with electronics.
