Hey Guys,

I purchased a hood from another member here just a couple of weeks ago. The hood was faded on the gel coat. James on the forum is who i bought it from. I was going to install the hood on the car but then i have other plans for it now. You may see some parts from my car going for sale in the next couple of months.

I had the hood Watersanded and buffed so the Fade isn't visable anymore, But the hood isn't shiny like new. I bought the hood for $100 from James, And paid $60 for the water sand and buff to get rid of the fade. I just really want to get back what i spent or something really close to it.

I was going to have the hood reclear coated which brings the hood back to new condition. But it would cost me a extra $60.00 bucks. If you want me to reclear before you buy the hood I can sell it to you for the exact cost it would cost me. $220.00 Total.

Otherwise you can pick up the hood as is for $160.00. As most members on here know me. I never BS on any products i sell. I've had some bad experiences on TN forums where i dont get the item described. However i dont play that game and most of you know and i've sold to many members here.

The hood is in physically good condition except for the dull shine it has. The dull shine can be fixed with a new clear coat. The fade is pretty much not visable however i can't guranttee that in the future. It also has the hood pins which i will include.

I will try to post up pics when i get a chance but i've been really busy that i haven't had a chance too get any.

If you have any questions feel free to PM me.
Also this is for LOCAL PICK UP ONLY. I WILL NOT SHIP THIS ITEM. I DONT HAVE TIME OR THE RESOURCES TO SHIP THIS OUT.
$160.00 OBO takes it.

Post Office will not deliever this. Fed-ex Ground will not either.
Their max lenght and height package is 40"x40" and i think the hood is more then that overall.

The only place i have been able to find to deliever this if i ship is UPS or DHL.

If you want, I can store it in my garage until your next trip down hahaha (the CF or the OEM). Definitely a good price. *BUMP* the kenny.

Would any cops hassle me for going hoodless? If not lmk I might just do it...Also Kenny does this have the mounts and what not for stock gas shocks, and would I need to get ones that are less forceful since the hood is lighter? I heard about them pushing through the hood because of the pressure.

The hood struts are not compatible w/ the CF hood as far as I know. Everyone has just been using an extending hood-prop to keep it open. You might be hassled for coming hoodless, but just say you're picking up a hood in Los Angeles because it's the only place you could find one for a simple trade of those wheels you'd be carrying lol... It may work =P People have done it before (Honda forums, San Jose to LA).
