the last two pics were me sitting in the drivers seat...so the bottom black part is the hood. i parked in front of a bush to show some of the cut off, but didn't turn out good. at least you can see the light shining on the car across the street.

I just help my girl freind VW gold to retro a headlight
Total money spend
$90 ( www.hidforum market palce ) Bosch single projector
$70 ( ebay ) pair of old bmw ballast. half of the wite have to solid it by your self
$24+5 ship D2S bulb from ebay. someone with misspelling item( zenon )
custom hareness $15
$40 pair of golf headlight form ebay ( cheap )
I use a old bear can to make the shrouds
Lazy to make a custom carbon fiber sheet.( take too long to make )
Total $$ = 230 ...with extra headlight. Put it back when sell the car.
