TRD Rear Sway Bar
Alright guys, I'm the jerk that won that rear sway bar on Ebay last week. Thanks for trying to outbid me and raising my grand total.
The reason for this post is just to let you all know how happy I am with it. I installed it last night at work (yes, I work night shift). Its very easy to assemble and disassemble. The hardest part of the whole operation was removing the old bar and placing the new bar in its place because of all of the bends in the bar.
Doing the install in the dark with a faint light in the parking lot and a flashlight was simple. I asked a friend to help me get the bar out. He asked me what was wrong with my original sway bar. Some people just don't understand. Anyway, he pushed and I pulled. Suddenly, something gave away and smashed my thumb against the brake rotor. My thumb is still throbbing and I'm sure my nail will fall off in a couple of weeks.
The good news is, I took a very indirect route home. A route with lots of turns and I couldn't be happier. Very little body roll. Its like being on a rail. If you find another TRD rear sway bar, I suggest, in the strongest possible terms, that you jump on it. You won't regret it.
Now I need to start saving for the JIC coilovers.
