different smoked tails......

hey guys... im going to smoke my gen 1 tails.. but im only going to smoke the transaparent place where the turn and reverse signals are. i dont remember if anyone has done this before... if u guys know who has or if u know any secrets to doing a good job lemme know

Like a few others having done the reverse of that with spray tint, I say just use masking tape and go over the edges several times to make sure they're nice and smooth. Also I would overlap the tape just 1mm or so to ensure that you don't get any extra untinted area where you can see the clear piece of the taillamp. Other than that just go for it.

You could also get vinyl tinting and cut it out I suppose.

I like the red and black idea, its kind of like the style you see on many mercedes benz. I like this idea as well, i might try it too!

i was going to do that when i smoked mine, but found it to not look as clean.
