solarablue: i'd consider tinting the spoiler light, but it'll probably be a really light coat so the brake light is still super bright. i'm still iffy on the light output on the tinted tails...heh

cklinh: i actually did spray it with clear coat, (2 thick coats) but i'm not sure if i used the right stuff (enamel clear coat.) I'm gonna see how this stuff weathers up during the week. I have a a feeling I'll probably end up resanding and recoating the clear coat in a couple of months...

(hmm...anyone know how long this tint'll last before this starts chipping or cracking..?):D

You did a good job..
I did mine almost a year ago and they still look good.
You should finish it off and do the spoiler brake light too...

Looks Great!!
But if that tint is on the outside of the lens
it won't last long.
I owned a detail shop and tinting was my claim to fame, Tint of anykind needs to be kept dry.
Other wise it will start to peel and crack.

All red.

there can neva be too much smoke 8) . . . but Milt's car is lookin tight too with the rent tint. mean shet. about the smoked tails . . . I've seen a Solara with big chrome rims and a smoked taillights with the clear part in Northridge earlier . . . looks smooth. I might do it, depending on how good the light output is when you brake.
