Nice ride buddy. Man you will definitively love the TRD muffler, it's just a great low sound...an upscale to a next level 8) For the performance, I don't know yet...TRD throw up a number 10 hp more...I will verify that soon by making some pulls when I will have all my mods (I'm sure it's maybe almost nothing because it's just the end of the exhaust line . But anyway it's a must !! http://www.trdparts4u.com/ the lowest price I found...the service is pretty effective ! Nice grills buddy, I'll receive mine soon (black mesh) it gives a really good look to the car !!

Way to go buddy !

First, I removed the chrome edging from the lower grille and put it along the top edge to create more stability there. (It's barely visible only if you get down low enough).

You will have to remove the skid plate screws along the bottom edge of the bumper and pull the plastic down to access the space behind the lower grille opening.

Then I used the gray Zip-Ties Mike provided to attach the lowerpoint of the posts only (luckily for me they blend in with my paint color - you may want to buy some that more closely match yours) - I did this on every post, making sure the top aligned correctly so it's on straight - and leaving room at both ends for a little overhang in the back...
Image

I then applied a self-adhesive Zip-Tie Mount on the back side, inside lip of the grille opening and Zip-Tied the loose ends (toward the top) to the mount. This provides stability and rigidity at both ends and the chrome strip helps keep it flat across the length of the grill.

So... that's what I did and it worked really well. Very happy with the results! :)

Thanks :) But I'm afraid the rims are going to have to wait for awhile now - too many other demands on my $$ the next few months!

I'll just do what I can when I can... and keep picking away at the list of mods as I can afford to. ;)

Great job on the grille set up Jeff, very clean and unique. The vvt-i emblem gives it a great touch along w/ the chrome door handles as others have mentioned.

Rims are always one of the biggest thing on the to do list, seeing how they'll be one of the most expensive.

Looks good but personally I would loose the vvt-i badges and as many of the emblems as you can. They take away from the clean look of the car and the grill.

Thanks for all the comments... That's what makes this site great - everybody has their own tastes and because of that - all of our mods are slightly unique from each other!

After all - why would we mod our rides at all unless we wanted a hint of individuality? ;)
