What kind of Head and fog light bulbs???

Postby happy_aggies » Thu Jan 23, 2003 10:22 am

PIAA Ion Yellow for the fog lights are way 2 expensive.
I am not sure they are 55 watts or 80 watts.

But 80 watts will burn much hotter esp. in the small fog lights housing.
I would not recommend those.

SilverVisions

I purchased those SilverVision bulbs from England and they DO NOT WORK. They would work on a 92-96 Camry though but not where parking light and turn indicator are one unit. I went to Home Depot and painted mine but I'll probably wind up getting those APC's. Jon.

How about Eurolite Xenon Crystals or Silverstars?

I've read in several places that the Osram (Europian) Silver Stars put out more light than the Sylvania Silverstars. Is this correct? Which one is a better application for a '99 Solara? If this is true I don't see why I shouldn't go with the Osram Silver Stars. Thanks-
