Fastest NA 1MZ! Video

Fastest NA 1MZ! Video

Postby Wang2k » Thu Mar 02, 2006 12:35 pm

http://videos.streetfire.net/video/AF0F ... 79AB0D.htm

I finally uploaded an in car vid of my car. The mods to it at the time of video were:
Forged internals-.020 bore increase,
Weapon R intake with BIG K&N(ducting for a lil cooler intake charge)
ported intake, Mild port workon heads(very mild ),
6 pizuck clutch,
Upgraded fuel lines. -6an with stainless earls lines and fittings, upgraded filter
Full exhaust 2.5" no cat split duals
Pre supercharger.
Torque Rod
18" wheels(a big slowmedowner)

I posted this vid to show everyone what i think is the pinnacle of NA 1mz performance. I never have had the car on a dyno though, so i cant really say shti. Also i may be the first to have upgraded my fuel lines before i went supercharged. I think the fuel lines helped though on the top end as i have previously posted.

not sure if you did all the installs yourself, kudos if you did.

BUT

you're an idiot for not wearing your seat belt going those speeds.

and POST IN THE CORRECT FORUMS!

Hey great. Its nice to finally see a Solara video up there.
What the heck is a "pre supercharger"?
As far is it being the pinnacle... According to your speedometer, 75 mph is hardly a pinnacle.
I don't mean to knock you. It sure sounds good and those are some impressive mods.
But it sounds like you need a little more practice with a stick shift and since I saw that blinking light on your dash, it appears you need to put on your seat belt.

Good job though!

sounds pretty sweet, but you should definitly hit the dyno and the track if you want more credibility to your claim.

what kind of number goals do you have after the s/c is installed?

I have since the vid installed my supercharger and 7lb pulley ...hence PRE-Supercharged

as far as goals i am done with it until i break something...or get major fuel upgrades..

Maybe he has harnesses guys... Then he wouldnt need to wear the stock seatbelt, now would he?

The engine sounds freakin sweet! Before I decided to go a different route, I was going to do a crazy NA buildup on a 1MZ... Individual throttle bodies, high rise headers, forged high comp internals... But too much time to get it done, and I want my car back NOW!

My apologies. I didn't mean to offend you.
I didn't understand about the pre supercharger. You had it listed as a mod. I assumed it was something silly that people buy on ebay. It didn't even occur to me that you meant that it was before you installed a supercharger.
Again, I'm sorry, but it would be nice to see some dyno results.

nice vid, sounds sweet, very similar to mine. I'd say i'm pretty even with your car. Im still n/a but soon to be s/c in ohhhh about two months I'm hoping. Good luck with your mods. Get a g-tec for some semi-acurate track and 0-60 times so maybe we'll have an idea of what your running.
