If you guys are interested Enough Im sure they are willing to R&D out a few to production. I dont know how to do these things but I can ask them next week if they are interested in making a few limited edition batches.

Reason why I say limited edition because I know not everyone will be interested in it. Not to mention interested in the future. So only limited will be made for those who would want it and after that no more. That way Alamo motorsport wouldnt make so much and loose money and hate us.

Plus the one I have right now Bolts RIGHTTT up to the factory headers and exhaust. Its on Flangs so in the future I can remove it if I have to to bolt the factory back on or not..

Wait does this means I get to name this after me? Yeayyyy hahahha

Your results make me question the theory that the piping from each exhaust bank has to be equal length when they meet up at the straight pipe. Granted, you don't have a cat, but it doesn't seem like you have any problem with steady acceleration.

If you are getting great results with a Y-Pipe that has unequal distances from the exhaust banks, then I don't see the benefit of a equal length Y-pipe.

Well I have my stock headers on. Its pretty much equel in some part there to pull the ehxust fumes out. Once it gets to the y pipe its all about pressure pushing it out. Also you have to consider Im Boosted too so doesnt matter TOOOOO much because there will be allot of pushing out. As long the two ends arent too far away from each other. It will push and pull no matter what. Mine isnt that far apart. It just looks like it.

Just 'swap' it out when you smog. A shop will do it pretty cheap, if you can't do it yourself. I love my JPP y-pipe (with the stock headers), it made alot of difference and it's so worth it. You've got sooo much time between smogs anyway...
BTW...I just bought the JPP headers and y-pipe - man, I can't wait to install it! 8)...thanks octang1!

The issue w\ a group buy on this sort of thing is that every car has a different setup most likely.. The issue with gutting the cat is that you will pull a code after a few run cycles.. which requires a o2 simulator for the o2 after the cat... not that big of a deal...

If you gut your cat yourself.. BE SURE NOT TO BREATH THE MATERIAL IN.. it is poison! it will cause health issues
Parting out my car!!! great upgrades for sale!
