Free Pair of MDF 6x9 Rear Speaker Baffles/Mounts!!!

Postby viper1400 » Fri Mar 03, 2006 6:52 am

Hey guys, a few years ago when I didn't know anything about car audio installation, I screwed up by throwing away my rear speaker mounts thinking the new speakers didnt mount on to the old mounts anyways. I totally messed up...for years now I have had rattling in the rear and I NEED IT TO STOP!!!!!!!

I am going to make custom 3/4" MDF mounts to replace what isnt even there anymore, but I need a template of someone else's. If I can borrow somebody's I will make you a pair of MDF baffles for free...i'll even pay for the shipping of them back to you...Anyone installing some new speakers in the back or already has new speakers in the back, other people will tell you that this is a pretty sweet deal...

MDF Baffles improve the overall sound quality of your speakers because it doesn't flex as much as metal does. (Flexing of metal screws up and distorts the sound). The great thing about these mounts/baffles is that if you go to craigslist and search for "Foam Baffles" (made by XTC) you can use the foam baffles along with the MDF baffles to make a completely sealed enclosure for your 6x9's.

Please let me know ASAP...thanks for all your help...
