Hey guys, I bought a tranny cooler from a member here a while back but I never had a chance to install it, and it turns out I dont even need it. I paid $80 (shipping included) and I need to get rid of it. Anyone interested hit me up with your offer. It's brand new, never installed, still in the box. Thanks!

It is my understanding that auto trannys need the tranny cooler and not the manual trannys. I don't know if it will fit a manual tranny because I never even attempted to install it in my ride, but talking to a mechanic today, he was explaining to me that auto tranny's are the ones that need the tranny coolers, not the manuals.

Or you can check this other link, and after selecting your make, model and year, select "Cooling System" and next to your Engine Type, click on "Base". Under COOLER-TRANSMISSION see if your car is compatible with part # 401 <<--- that's the kit.

its pretty simple... the hardest part is mounting it to the radiator... all you do is tap the line that runs to the radiator... we already have a small tranny cooler, but this outside one would be a lot better

OK people already trying to low ball me... let me start all over, is $70 shipped reasonable? and this is a DYI item, very easy to install. Even if you were to take it to a shop to get it done, i dont see why they would want to charge you over an hr's rate.

tranny cooler is only for an auto... 5 speed has no clutches internally that can bake... auto tranny slips into each gear causing friction which causes heat, and the cooler removes the fluid from the tranny to try to get rid of some of the heat...
