hey guys, the bottom line is that i cant afford a wideband o2 gauge right now. im going to get a boost gauge for sure, but would it be ok for me to just get a EGT gauge for use on my trip to cali? i plan on getting a wideband this summer, but i want something that will be semi safe and let me know whats going on for my trip to cali. arent the wideband and EGT kinda related?? one cant be off without the other being off can it?? any help or hookups appreciated

EGT would be nice. however EGT and O2 are in different places i assume.

EGT directions said for optimal readings put it 2 inches after the exhaust outlet.

unless this is the same place the wide02 would go, seems like a good plan, otherwise just wait it out.

I think you would have to drill a seperate bungholio for the egt.
