Aight, check it out! The other day I get pulled over 3 times going out to the races in Tampa, all three for tail lights being out! Next day, I buy new fuses, (takes a 10A fuse), all the up to 20A they pop. 25 & 30 both work but......I'm getting smoke on the passenger side winshield vents. WTF??? Anybody got any input? Any wiring diagrams? Hook a solara homeboy up!

bulb is shorted together and NEVER put a larger fuse in than it says to you can cause a rather large electrical fire which you may have already done, basically replace all brake light bulbs so you don't have to test them and put a 10 a fuse back in

if there is smoke coming from the FRONT of the car, it might not be the bulbs in the back... I hope it is. tracing wires all around a car is NOT fun.

I know this has been said already... but dont EVER!!!!!!! put a bigger fuse in a circuit so it dosn't pop... That smoke you saw was the beginning of your Solara burning to a crisp.

i had a problem like that, it mite be that a wire is touching some part of the metal in ur car. check to see if exposed wire is touching things its not suppose to touch. i had something like that with aftermarket lights for my acccord, most likey that from how it sounds

I know it was screwed me for putting a bigger fuse in but I had to get 2 citations signed off (especially for the one on base). I'm gonna take out the ECM and see if the fuse will still pop when I turn the lights to tail or head. That will troubleshoot one section of wires after the fuse. After that, I'm gonna have to pretty much just start shootin wires. The dealer told me it's gonna be round 2g's if I have to replace the harness so I'm hoping that the smoke I was seing didn't screw to much stuff up! As far as bulbs go, I replaced every bulb in the tail lights and license plate lights. God damn this problem. All the input helps peeps! Keep on bringin it!
