after reading a previous post i have a question. The stock headunit does not have a built in amp like all the aftermarket ones? it has a seperate 200 watt jbl amp?

The stock headunit does not have a built in amp (if you have the JBL system). It has a separate amp of about 17watts RMS/channel.
