Ok so Im having issue getting help as much on this from around shops. Their dam flippin over price crap. Anyways. Im installing my new OEM radiator and 170 degree Thermostat... ANYYYYY Addvice or ways to do it correctly? Its going to be a 10 hour labor since Ill be changing my knock sensor too and spark plugs and oil at the same time. LET ME KNOW!!! Dont leave me hanging.

Also on the radiator I notice theres like two more small pipings on it. What plugs up to it? Is it a transmission cooler? I dont use it right since Im manual and wont have one? If this doesnt work out Im selling the Solara. Im getting tired of my car.

Those two little plugs are for automatic transmission coolers. . . if mess up changing the raditor you do not belong near a car. . . all you do is remove the splash plate under the car. . . drain the radiator fluid. . . unhook the top and bottom hose. . . take off the 4 nuts for the fan. . . disconnect the 3 plugs for the fan. . . take off the two nuts on the radiator mount. . . than the whole thing lifts up. . . for the themostat look in the Tutorial section someone has already wrote a DIY on it. . . mostly it was really easy

Yeah the radiator you really don't need to take the splach guard off.
Yeah the 2 lines on the bottom are for the auto cooler.
Let me know if you need help on this.
Done both of them.

the thermostat is ultra easy. follow the lower rad hose. IT is connected to a steel aluminum looking metal pipe that makes a 90* bend towards the engine. You will want to disconnect any nuts to get the hard pipe loose as well as the actual (3) 10mm nuts that hold the elbow that goes to the engine. Once you get it off, it will show the thermostat. There is a sensor you gotta disconnect, youll know it when you try and get the hard pipe out of the way. You do NOT have to disconnect the lower rad hose from the steel pipe.

Strange, While you got the 170* thermostat, mine is 160* and I know most people's rad cap is set at 1.3bar, the one I recieved was 1.5.

I wanted a TRD thermostat, but had to get a OEM one. :x
But also you should remover the air box or intake to have more room.
