I paid somewhere along the lines of $175. Im rocking Quantum 14 all around, which is very dark and very reflective. Im not sure what is the legal amount for the rear, but you're not supposed to have any tint on the drivers or passengers side windows.

i got all of my windows done, including the driver and passenger side windows. i spent about $190 on mine with 38%. i personally wanted to go darker, but in R.I. anything below 28% is illegal. i had a choice of wither 38% or 21%, so i was out of luck. But the legal limit depends on the state i believe.

imo 20% all around is perfect...when i FINALLY find time to squeeze in an appt. i'm going to get 21% rear and 35% front windows..i'd luv to have 20 all around, but mass law is 35% so i'm already pushing it

hweanrgy, what state do you live in??

Missy,
MD tint is 35% which I had on my 92 Camry but it was too light. I have 20% on mine which can be seen on my website and no cop has EVER bothered me. There is 30% out there as well which is nice. Jon.

haha..yea, i agree that 35 is sorta light..that's why i'd rather go for the 20...i'm just not a fan of SUPER dark tint like limo tint..then again, i take that back..it does look awesome..just don't over do it
(i'm thinking of gunman's super dark tint on his solara and it looks awesome..lol...of course he can hardly see out it, but that's another story :P )

I've got 5% all around and I love it! It can be sunny as Florida can get and I'm still in the shade. I think Florida's law is 35%, but cops down here don't pull you over for that; they usually find something else to get you for then give you a "warning." I also love how no one can look in but I can look out.

can you even see at night? if a cop tried to pull you over, you probably wouldnt even see his lights flashing in your rear.

I know someone who does tints and she gave me a sweet deal on it. She usually charges around the $110 to $130 area.

I can see lights that shine in through the tint. I have to roll down the windows to back out if there are no lights nearby. It's really not that bad and it feels kind of "cozy" inside with the tint. :)
