I'd go for the 1st set... $3 cheaper, hehe but yeah, pretty much the same, just diff companies selling them.

Astro, did you have to re-adjust your light beams?

hahah my imput huh? the lights are aight.. it looks clean on my ride..the corners dont look so good IMO. they could have done a better job. and also with R&D my light beam pattern is off i had to readjust it.. but it still wouldnt work... and also i know when i am driving down a dark road.. i can see the light beam hitting the top of the trees LOL.. so its all basically on you.. some people dont even have problems with these.. like kenny.. and some people do.. its the luck of the draw i guess you can say.

Mel is right. Some ppl have had problems with these lights (foucing and adjusting). I guess I'm kind of one of the luck ones. I didn't have too much problem with mine. The beam pattern is fine however on one headlight i do get a weird reflection that shines about 15ft high. But car's can't see it since its very faint.

I've been pretty happy with them and i have HID's. My passenger side Corner lamp started to have condensation. But i waited till the went away took it off and resealed them and haven't had a problem so far...

Good luck on your search or buy.. I can def. say these are a HIT or MISS kind of buy..

With this kind of risk on $200, its not worth it to me...
something like clean corners being around 20-30 and just sealing them up, im not worried about

If I were you, I would get a set of OEM lamps, the whole nine yards, from the insurance company, then go buy the blacked out lamps on your own. Then you could sell the OEM ones for pretty good money on here or on ebay. You would probably come out ahead money wise as well.

headlamps and corners take about 30-45 minutes tops to replace...just dont rush it and do something you will regret later. good luck bro.

Would anyone happen to have any pictures of these on their 1.5, perhaps on a darker-colored 'lara? Mine's 6S3, Rainforest Pearl, and while it looks good on a lighter-colored car... I'm having a hard time convincing myself it won't look ricey.

sigh.. today after the rain cleared.. and the sun came out, i noticed that some rain actually got INTO my right headlight... :x gah.. Well, just wanted some advice. I can...

1. Buy some those blackhousing headlights (linked above, but im guessing these have problems with the seals. yes?)
2. Pop my headlights open, clean em out, reseal em.. (which i have no idea how to do.....)
3. Try to get some OEM ones from the delearship.. which im gonna assume are pretty bank..

Well, my solara's a 99 with 124,xxx completely stock. Which makes me wonder if i want blackhousing.. Well, any help would be great! thanks!.
