Smoked Tail Lights on Gen 1.5???

Does anybody have their 1.5 tail lights smoked? I did some searching and I can only find gen 1's or Alteezas smoked. I want to change my tails but wanted to see how it would look with this generation. I may just have to get the blacked out ones from eBay or buy a pair of gen 1's and have them done since I know what they look like. Milt had some for sale a year ago and I doubt he's held on to them.

hey man, im in the same boat you are. i bought some gen 1's but id really like to do something different with my stock 1.5's. im thinking about just getting the smoke stuff from www.stickercity.com and putting it on the 1.5's. just a thought

I thought that the gen 1 and 1.5 lights were interchangable, the question is do you want people to think that your car is older then it actually is.

Then again most people cannot even tell the difference between a Solara and a Sonata.....

... i guess i can see where toyota was going with the "solara" and the sun-like contour designs, but i feel the gen1 tail lights were cleaner & went w/ the lines of the solara better...

Yea i did them, but mine are completely, COMPLETELY blacked out. You cant see the outlines through the VHT. You can still see the brakelights tho, but i already got pulled over because they couldnt see my driving night lights. I'm goign to redo them, but in terms of looking good, they look pretty sick and they make the stock gen 1.5 tails look SLIGHTLY less gay. haha later guys
