Suggestion On These Rims!?

So by the end of this month I should have enough $$$ to get a set of Rims from wheelmax. Im planning on getting NeX-O Rims GS-5 18"inch. With an offset of 45.
Wanted to know your thoughts on wheelmax, and the NeX-O, also is that a good offset (cause im not sure).

everyone always asks about wheelmax, it's all mixed opionions but i had no probs with them. Those rims are going to look the same size as almost stock.Huge lips on the rims make the rim look smaller. Our cars are big, u dont want 19's or 20's?

He has a Gen 1 Solara, So they should look ok. On the Gen 2 they might look small but 18's on a Gen 1 are fine but 19's do look better.

Whats the width of the rims??

If they are x 7.5" with +45 offset you might get some rubbing depending the tires you are going to get.

For 7.5" width wheels your safe running +42 or +40 offset. But others have ran on +45 offset without any problems.

on a 18x7.5" wheel i would run 225/40/18 tires.. depending on the brand of tires you buy and wheather it has a flat side wall or curved side wall will determine if your will rub with a +45 offset.
Running a 235/40/18 tire will bring you more close to stock size on the odo. but with 235/40 on 7.5" wide and +45 offset you will def. get some rubbing.

7.5" width with a +42 or +40 offset you will be safe with a flat or curved side wall tire. on both 235 or 225 series tires.

The 18" NeX-O tire recomendations were 225/40/18

I would like to go with 19's wasnt much of a variety on WM.com I was thinking of these... there Excel 19" offset of 35 tire recomendations they gave me were, 235/35/19.

When we say rubbing are we talking about the caliper or fender?
Also when I do lower the car on 18" or 19" should I worry?

1) Since you're not selling these wheels, I'll move it out of the for sale section.

2) Since you have a Gen 1, I'll place this in their aftermarket upgrades.
