recall notice

recall notice

Postby machavelli99 » Fri Apr 07, 2006 4:51 pm

I was looking up cars online to compare to mine to get an idea on value. While searching on cars.com I came across this showing a recall notice. It says its for headlights but doesn't really give any information. Just wondering if anybody knew anything about this and figured someone might be able to use this.

the notification lists a number to call so I guess I could always call up and see what they say about it, what exactly the recall is and what models it applies to

Due to the low quality headlight fluid (halogen), they will replace it with HID fluid at no charge to you.
Also, they are considering upgrading all muffler bearings. My muffler bearing was squeeking. They recommended turning my radio up to make the squeek disappear.

I did already. I wasn't aware of an impending recall. I upgraded to HID fluid about 6 months ago. I also got the blinker fluid too. Working good so far...

It only involves Pro-A motors aftermarket lights. Nothing to do with a stock Solara.
