Looking for suggestions on exhaust systems

It sounds like a fairly even split for all the cat back systems. I'll make some calls to see what I CAN actually get nowadays. Thanks to all.

Greddy Exhaust

Postby RedSolaraGuy » Tue Feb 25, 2003 8:05 pm

I just purchased and installed the Greddy Evo and I was pleasantly surprised with the non-rice sound. I however don't think it is loud enough and wondered if it would be possible to remove the resonators which are on the pipe just after the catalytic convertor. Would this pose any problems or dangers (other than getting pulled over for a loud exhaust)? I was hoping i could just saw out the resonators and clamp in a piece of straight pipe. Anyone ever done this???

I also like the drone of the Greddy.. I love it... I had mine in time for christmas. I ordered in october, and it came in from Japan and I got it by christmas.. I installed Christmas night.. I love it... With the resinators, how much louder could it get??? would it be benificial?
thanks Scott

I wouldn't recommend that. If you do want to make your Greddy Evo louder, get a custom y-pipe made...and it will make it a little louder.
