I installed my SAFC 2 but its messing with my engine, when its idling. When installing it, I disconnected my battery so I dont know if the ecu needs to reset along with the SAFC or what. Also, my throttle percentage is at 100% at idle. I checked all the connections but nothing. I DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO and i dont want to drive it. please help... thanx any info will help

check the air pressure wire and make sure it's not reversed...?

it's the wire that the S-AFCII is wired inline with.

i did, i looked in the manual and there one specific air flow wire that goes into the ECU and the other end to the safc. Im really jammed. What could it be?

is it brand new or used? did you run the initial set-up?

check SENSOR type in the menu: Hot Wire, Pressure, ------, Karmann something like that.

when i was fiddling with mine at the drive-thru i accidentally set it to Karmann which idled the engine REALLLY low.

luckily, i put it back to "normal" just in time to grab my Jumbo Jack...

You might of putted it into the wrong settings. I went through that before.

It is brand new and i have done the initial setup. Question: in the inital setup, what setting should they be at?? as in what is the sensor number, in and out and sensor calibration. also should the throttle inclined or declined? please help, i want to drive my car...

best thing to do is Initialize.

If done so, everything has been resetted and there wont be any tinkering.

save it for a dyno tune.
