How low is too low?

How low is too low?

As far as lowering the Gen 1's

In order to keep stoclk struts and to not decrease the life of the stock struts...wats the drop/brand best for our cars?

Tein is 1.7/1.4 i believe..

And...anyone know of a seller on Ebay garaunteed to sell genuine springs?

I think the onyl drop that's okay to use with stock struts is TRD. Since TRD springs doesn't void any warranties

If you're going to upgrade the suspension, don't half ass it, do it right and get struts. You'll regret it otherwise and it'll cost you more down the road to have to tear the car apart again when you realize you should have done struts too in the first place.

TRD springs for Gen 1 & 1.5 Solara's are discontinued. Eibach springs (TRD springs) lower your car 1.6 inches all around.

Dunno if it will put more or less stress being that TRD springs are Eibach's but I would agree with "toy4x4boy" on doing it all at once and saving some or a lot of cash paying double for labor if you decide to get struts later on.

I agree as well, I just got Eibachs. I love the springs themselves, but definitely wish I had changed the struts at the same time.
