body question

body question

This would be much easier to explain with a picture but bare with me.

What I'm referring to is the stips of body molding that run parallel to the ground, in the middle of the door, and a little on the front and back fender, on both sides. Know what I mean?

Anyway, mine seems to be comming off in the center. Its just enough to make it look like a buldge in the molding. I thought about putting some 3M tape in there but I dont think that will work....that tape is pretty thick.

Any ideas? Or anyone know ROUGHLY how much it would cost me to have the molding taken off all together and make the body smooth all around?...I'm assuming bondo?
