i was thinking bout finally upgrading the shoes =)
any idea on what color you think goes best on a red car? i mean im open to suggestions cuz I like them all, (excluding gunmetal or bronze b/c I don't think itd match the car really well).. silver, hyperblack, or black(w/ chrome lip), or chrome are my top 4 choices. =)
hoping to see some professional opinons *thumbs up* thanks.

i think bronze/gold with a polished lip would look sick on a red solara... i'd go with gunmetal over black. i also wouldnt go chrome... this is all my opinion....
whats your price range?

i just picked up this months Honda Tuning and the hottest wheels i have ever seen are on this white S2000 (pg 19 for my honda people)

chrome gram lights with some kind of pearl or chameleon on the lip... by far the prettiest wheel i have ever looked at

by the looks of it, i say it should compliment the red very well

upon further reading i found this
"Rays Engineering debuted a new plating process dubbed Stainless Jacket Ion Plating that produces a heat-cycled Titanium finish. The process was used on a Gram Lights wheel and should be available across the Rays lineup. Will it come to America?"

i guess that explains it...

Here is a picture of my rims on a Red '00. They have a polished lip with gunmetal spokes and I painted the caps red to match the body color. The wheels are Tenzos, 17"

http://www.rayswheels.co.jp/2004e/tech/stainless.html here is a link to how their new Stainless Jacket sytem works

i guess from there they just heat treat the jacket with titanium of some sort to get those colors flowing.

again, this was mentioned as a show concept in a magazine and i doubt we'll see much about the titanium lip for a while

Yeah, all the new Gram Lights that used to have a polsihed lip, now come with a stainless jacket. The rainbow colored one you saw is a titanium jacket. Those are crazy expensive.

Personally, I think gold looks hot on a red car. Gunmetal, etc has been done to death (no offense). Its just gunmetal has been around for a while now, so more people have done it and gold has just been starting to be used more often lately.

Thats just my opinion though :p
