Title says it all, some guy is parting out a 99 sc and I want to upgrade to leather, but can't find any solara seats or seat covers in my price range. Will any of the seats fit?

If it's not an exact match you can always have a shop custom fit it for you.

Somewhere between 400-600. The cheapest I've seen seat cover kits was 650. But I'm just not sure how authentic the seat covers would feel.

seats in SC400/300 is interchargeable with 92-98 supra seats. my guess is that you need custom rail. However, they are all power seats and very heavy

Yes. Open the trunk and place them in. They might have to stick out though. (Just kidding Bro.)

I agree with Turbo, it's a lot of work for heavy seats. Personally, I'd go aftermarket first. (Just my opinion)

check out leatherseats.com you can find some seat covers there. you can also do a leather suede combo which would kick some a**. shouldnt be more then $700 or so for front and back seats. may require proff. intstall but i believe it come with instructions if youd like to do it yourself.

Yeah I think that site is where I got the $650 estimate from. When I actually put leather in my car it'll probably be with them or a similar site. But right now I'm saving my money for a keyless entry /alarm and then a drop.

check out your local upholstery shops. they'll probably do it cheaper than tuner-market prices.

I bought a full set of leather seats from a salvaged solara, in Perfect shape, on ebay. They were around $200 + $200 shipping, which is a great price compared to how much upholstery shops want to do the job. Mine included all of the brackets and wiring too. I would definitely search your junk yards or ebay first, there are always oem leather seats on there for sale.
